On July 4, the Texas hill country was devastated by a massive flash flood. The damage done in those few short hours would carve a scar in the heart of Texans that will last generations. While hundreds of people were rescued, sadly we lost over 120 beautiful lives. Among those were our most innocent of God’s creations. Thirty six children lost their lives in the floods, the youngest just 20 months old. To say the families are devastated would be a waste of breath. Their loss will never heal. We can only pray that they will someday be able to live with the excruciating pain that now fills every inch of their souls. While we can never fix what has been done, together we can help.
